Last night we went to see The Hobbit. Ally and I are long-term Tolkien fans, so we were quite excited about it and just waiting for our chance to go see it. We dragged jo_lasalle along because, well, she was there.

Post-show discussion revealed the following: ( Spoilers! )

I didn't really have time to listen to CHAIN properly until... well, today, once I'd sent off that batch of assignments. I'd sampled the songs just briefly when it came out, stuck two on my 'current' playlist, and decided closer inspection and appreciation of the rest had to wait.

I have a theory. The theory is this: Kame can (for contractual, congenital or complicated reasons) only produce a solo I actually like every five years. 2005 had Kizuna. 2009 had 1582.
